Drinks

We found an old timey soda shop in Old Town Sandiego. They had a zillion different types of soda, so we thought buy a few different kinds and take them home to sample.

Here's the bartender showing off our Taste Bar.

There were all sorts of different flavors. Sasparilla, Huckleberry, Chocolate soda (it was like carbonated chocolate milk... weird), Ginger, Shirley Temple, Cream Soda, Prickly Pear, Brain Wash (had jalapeno oil in it), Butterscotch Rootbeer, and Lenin-ade ("Get Hammered & Sickled --- A soda worth waiting in line for").

I think my favorite was the Butterscotch Rootbeer. It tasted like what I imagine Butterbeer would taste like.

  1. I want some butterbeer! That's what was missing this afternoon! Plus, I hear it helps with heartburn :)
